Help Tanuki, a friendly Japanese raccoon dog, in the arcade game Yokai Dungeon. In this game, loads of Yokai appeared out of nowhere and are trying to ruin the Festival of Lamps, and it's up to you and Tanuki -along with some friends- to bandish them all!
Yokai Dungeon has straightforward gameplay: explore all the rooms in each dungeon and defeat all the Yokai until you reach the dungeon boss. Yokai Dungeon's gameplay progresses in a similar way to games like The Binding of Isaac, or to the lesser extent, Enter the Gungeon.
As you explore the dungeons, use blocks in the level to defeat all the enemies along the way. Simply push the blocks to squash enemies! If you push a block at just the right time, and you can even take out several Yokai in just one move.
Not only that, but some rooms in the dungeon have merchants, each one with unique items to sell, although all the items will help you in the fight against the Yokai. In total, there's over twenty items and artifacts to collect.
